How To Keep Costs Low

If you plan ahead while creating content, you can save money when it comes time for translation. To get the best product for the lowest cost, we suggest that you:

  • Leave room for text expansion: Most languages tend to take up more space than English. So when formatting, take some time to think about how line breaks and spacing might affect the translated product.
  • Make good font choices: If you plan on translating to a language that has accent marks or doesn’t use Latin alphabet, it’s important to ensure that the fonts you use support these characters.
  • Localize your images: Some images just don’t carry the same meaning in one market as another. Be sure that all images, colors, and graphics carry the appropriate message in your target market.
